Presumably, everyone was stunned to read our post today that a few employees who had porn pictures on their work computers were fired, but sued and were awarded almost a million dollars.  Their claim — age discrimination, because the company allegedly selected for firing only a small number of the implicated employees, a disproportionately high number of whom were over 40.

Ronald Adler, a DC-based CEO of a veteran-owned, HR management consulting firm, had this short comment which sums up the takeaway for employment professionals:

“Richard:  Demonstrates the importance of disciplining all employees to the same standard.  Ron”

Sounds right to us.
