A teenage female employee at a New Jersey “children’s party business,” which provides kids under 12 with inflatable slides, obstacle courses and “bounce houses,” has agreed to a settlement of $15,000 after filing a complaint that she was sexually harassed.
She claimed that her male supervisor sent her text messages such as “Can I hit it in the morning?” and “Meet me in the closet,” as well as a text message with the “f-word.” She also claimed that male co-workers subjected her to sexual comments; for example one employee told her that he had set up a race between her and another female employee to see who would perform oral sex on him. After complaining about the harassment, she was fired.
If harassing a young girl was not so egregious, we might wonder what a “bounce house” is.
